On August 27, 2020, Dongying Investment Bureau announced that an enterprise in Shandong plans to build two 250000-ton crude oil berths, and one subsidiary booster platform, another submarine oil pipeline from two single points to booster platform. Additionally, there will be one submarine oil pipeline from the two single points to the booster platform, one submarine oil pipeline from the booster platform to the onshore transfer crude oil depot and one submarine cable. The annual design throughput is 3493 tons, with a total investment of 2.8 billion RMB. The construction period of this project is one year, and the operation period will be 30 years. It is reported that this crude oil berth is planned to be built with CALM SPM technology, which will make the company the third enterprise in China to build CALM single point (the first two are Maoming New King Ming Petroleum Co., Ltd.: 300,000-ton single point and CNOOC Weizhou: 60,000-ton single point).
