2From March 12th to 31st, 2016, NKM replaced the IM1560 buoy (that has been in service at sea for 7 years) with the SO17160 buoy, and the old one was transported ashore for maintenance.

The buoy replacement project is a preliminary project of the 300,000-ton SPM submarine pipeline safety hazard treatment project. Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Design Co., Ltd. carried out the EPC general contracting, and the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau was responsible for the offshore project construction. A third-party project supervision mode is introduced for the first time to ensure that all works of the project are carried out in strict accordance with the plan.

Although affected by the rough sea conditions, the single point buoy replacement project was completed 10 days earlier than the original plan with the joint efforts of all parties.
